  • Account information — name, email address, organization name, and role when you create an account or request a consultation.
  • Newsletter subscriptions — email address when you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Contact form submissions — name, email, company, and message content.
  • Course activity — progress, quiz responses, and tool submissions within the learning platform.
  • Support interactions — ticket content, chat messages, and satisfaction ratings.

We also automatically collect:

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and session duration.
  • Device information — browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
  • Cookies — session cookies for authentication and preferences (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our training platform and services.
  • Send marketing communications you have opted into (newsletters, product updates).
  • Respond to support requests and provide customer service.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our products.
  • Fulfill contractual obligations with your organization.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Marketing Communications

We send marketing emails only when you have given explicit consent by checking the opt-in checkbox on our newsletter or contact forms. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time by:

Transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, course notifications) are not affected by marketing opt-out.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Service providers — Brevo (email delivery), cloud hosting providers, and payment processors, all bound by data processing agreements.
  • Your organization — if you access KINETIQ through an employer or organizational license, your administrator may see aggregated progress and completion data.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@kinetiq.work.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies (if used) are anonymized and do not track individuals across sites.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data we hold.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to processing for marketing purposes.
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive data, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Children

KINETIQ is designed for professional use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active account holders. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
